Internet Saver Notice

'What I'd like is a way to manage my 'e-savings' at a time that suits me, preferably from the comfort of my own front room. Think of me as a virtual investor. Any chance you can help?'

We most certainly can! Here's how our Internet Saver Notice Account works:

Key Features:

  • You can open your Internet Saver Notice account with as little as £1,000 up to a maximum of £2 million.
  • With a tiered variable rate of interest the more you save the more interest you will receive:

        £1,000+          6.10% p.a. Gross/AER
      £50,000+          6.20% p.a. Gross/AER
    £250,000+          6.30% p.a. Gross/AER

  • Interest can be paid on the last day of the month or annually (31 July), you decide.
  • You can make withdrawals via BACS, to your nominated account without penalty, by giving us 30 days notice of withdrawal.
  • In emergency you can have access to your money, subject to 30 days loss of interest on any amount withdrawn.
  • Interest guaranteed to at least match the Bank of England Base Rate until 1 July 2009.
  • We give you the convenience of online access, 24 hours a day.

With a minimum opening deposit of just £1,000 (maximum of £2 million), it's easy to start saving.

What does AER mean?

Every savings product that shows an interest rate must show the AER. It stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and shows what the interest would be if it were paid and added each year. We do this so you can compare our accounts more easily.
