• Critical Illness cover - Critical Illness policies are available separately or combined with other policy types. They are designed to pay out a guaranteed lump sum if you are diagnosed with suffering from one of the specified critical illnesses and are eligible to claim. They also pay out on death.
• Trusts - writing a life assurance policy in trust allows you greater control over who are the beneficiaries of the policy, the speed benefits are paid and may help in with inheritance tax planning.
