Environment

Bradford & Bingley has been committed to reducing its environmental impact for a number of years now and in previous years various departments across the Group have become CarbonNeutral®.

We have continued to work with the Carbon Neutral Company in 2006 and we are proud to announce that from 1st January 2007 Bradford & Bingley became a CarbonNeutral® company.

As well as offsetting our carbon emissions, we have also committed to reducing total carbon emissions across the business and in September 2006 we switched our electricity contract to renewable energy, which gives an ongoing reduction of 70% in our carbon emissions.
